Jill is of counsel to the firm. She concentrates in the administration of trusts and estates, estate planning and contested trust and estate matters. Jill has experience working as a Court Attorney-Referee in the New York State Surrogate's Court and has several years of law firm experience representing beneficiaries and fiduciaries in contested trusts and estate proceedings.
Prior to focusing in the field of trusts and estates, Jill was an associate and then of counsel to Solomon Blum Heymann, LLP where she represented international and domestic entities and individuals in their commercial litigation matters before state, federal and appellate courts and before arbitral (both domestic and international) tribunals. She is admitted to the state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey and is an inactive member of the Colorado bar.
She actively participates in the Trusts and Estates section of the New York State Bar Association. She is a mediator for the commercial division of the New York State Supreme Court and the New Jersey Civil Mediation Roster.
Jill regularly lectures in the area of trusts and estates and is published in the fields of trusts and estates, mediation, arbitration, contracts, business organizations, secured transactions, and electronic discovery, in the United States, Argentina and Austria. She is proficient in Spanish and has a working knowledge of Japanese.
